New Workplaces for New Workstyles Author: Marilyn Zelinksy Plan and
design examples with photographs of major corporations from IBM to Pacific
Bell.
The
author, Marilyn Zelinsky, February 18, 1998 Why I wrote this
book: I wrote this book because I sensed a surging interest in how and
why the look, feel, and management of our corporate workplaces continue to
change. I realized this interest when I wrote a column on home office design
and alternative officing for Interiors Magazine. I found a mountain of
overwhelming, confusing information, and realized the need for one
comprehensive source with an index to which a design or facility professional
could refer for helpful and insightful information on putting together an
alternative officing program. I hope the book will become a reference, an
inspiration, and a tool for you to use towards your own discoveries in
planning, designing, and managing an alternative workplace. |

Excellent!
Duffy gives
readers an insight into future concepts of office design through a combination
of the author's training in architecture and his forward-thinking new
organizational design. The book has plenty of graphics and pictures covering 20
real life case studies of companies in the US, Europe, and Japan. Certainly
inspiring. |

Multiple Sclerosis: A Guide for the Newly
Diagnosed Author: Nancy Holland, et al "A good
overview for newly diagnosed MS patients with, answers to many questions. The
book is very good in providing answers to the first questions a patient would
have. I have read several books on Multiple Sclerosis and this book was best in
answering the initial questions. It is also the book I refer to whenever I have
questions."
