Musical Background:
Kirk P. Williams
A long-time Colorado resident, Kirk developed his passion for jazz through attending many evenings through several years of live performances by then local artist Rob Mullins who performed regularly at the now defunct Regas Cafe. His musical influences include Burt Bacharach, Andreas Vollenweider, Rob Mullins, the Kinks, James Gang, Lalo Schifrin, and even Sir Arthur Sullivan (of Gilbert & Sullivan.)
Williams gained early performance experience with the Indiana-based band, "The Elements of Time." Later, as a musician/composer he provided music for KKTV (Colorado Springs CBS Affiliate) for special events and the "It's About Money" radio program on KHOW (AM 630) - both in the 1990's.
